About C.J. Thomason [Christopher John Thomason]

C.J. Thomason, or Christopher John Thomason, was born on December 6, 1982 in Abilene, Texas. According to IMDB, his drive for acting was spurred by a brother rivalry at the age of 12, but this drive later on transformed into a deeper passion for the stage and for acting.

As a result of this newfound passion, he moved to Los Angeles after graduating early from Central High School, San Angelo, Texas, to pursue his acting career in Hollywood.

CJ Thomason enjoys occasional writing with future aspirations of directing and producing choice projects. His debut work was called "The Bitch Room", a dark/comedic short film about five friends, which starred him, Johnny Pacar, Charlie Talbert, Brett Harrison, Tony Wilde, and Tazee Miles. He also has an inclination towards poetry - check out CJ's myspace. I particularly like his poem, "The Passing On", particularly these words:

"Keeping your head above water can bring you down
But it is curious to note
Its the breathing bodies that sink and drown
And lifeless ones that float"

Other interests include football, Big XII football (researched from his sportswriter profile), wood carving, cooking, etc. Taken from his official website:

He began his acting career in Hollywood in the 2001 horror flick, "The Brotherhood 2: Young Warlocks", where he played Marcus Ratner, an outcast rebel without a cause, who, along with his two other outcast friends, gets bullied by the high school's resident popular jocks, and gets enthralled by the prospect of using witchcraft to get back at them.

CJ Thomason made brief appearances on several notable TV shows, including the soap opera, General Hospital, Boston Public, CSI: NY, What about Brian, and Jane Doe. He also acquired a small role on the major action blockbuster, Transformers. In 2009, C.J. landed the central role of Jimmy Mance in the recently concluded suspense / thriller / gory CBS show, Harper's Island. Jimmy is the charming old flame of the central character, Abby Mills (played by Elaine Cassidy), who left the island 7 years prior to the show on the aftermath of the Wakefield serial murders, without saying goodbye to Jimmy. When Abby Mills comes back to the island, Jimmy is more than happy to see her again.

Check out the video of Jimmy Mance and Abby Mills' reunion below and behold their undeniable chemistry.

As the episodes of Harper's Island progresses, Jimmy Mance would later on prove to be a very integral role in the show, becoming a vivid testimony to CJ Thomason's talent for acting and natural charisma.

CJ Thomason as Ben in Sutures Movie CJ Thomason also stars in another horror/thriller flick called Sutures, which involves a mercenary surgeon, a sociopath businessman and his business of selling Black Market body parts. The show was just completed recently.
